1 package of Lipton's Dry Onion Soup mix
1 1/4 cup water
2 8 ounce cans of Tomato Sauce
1 pound of lean ground beef
1/2 tsp of Garlic Salt (or garlic powder)
1/2 tsp of Thyme
1/4 tsp. of Pepper
1 tbsp. of chopped Parsley
1 pound of large Egg Noodles (cooked according to package directions)
In deep sauce pan, bring to a boil quickly the onion soup mix, water and only 1 1/2 cans of tomato sauce. Simmer, covered, for 10 minutes. Mix ground beef by hand with garlic salt/powder, thyme, pepper, parsley and remaining tomato sauce. Shape meat mixture into 16 - 20 small meatballs and place in sauce. Simmer gently, uncovered, for 25 minutes, turning occasionally.
